Tuggeranong Valley Australian Football Netball Club (TVAFNC) is thrilled to announce Sam Robinson has officially signed on as Head Men's First Grade Coach and Luke Jess has been appointed as Head Women's First Grade Coach for 2027.

 

For the past three years Sam and Paul Highmore have shared the Head-Coaching role in the Men's Program, with significant progress being made over that period, culminating in our first appearance in a Preliminary Final in almost three decades. However, Paul has decided that the time is right to hand the reigns to Sam and for him to more broadly support the Senior Men's Program. Sam has agreed to assume sole responsibility for the Senior Men's Program next year which will enable him to further enhance his coaching experience. 

 

Luke Jess has been part of our club for decades. Amongst other roles Luke has been an Assistant Coach of the Senior Women's Program in past years and most recently coach of U14s Girls. Luke will bring a new perspective to the women's program continuing to shape our players in the years ahead as Head Women's Coach following on from the conclusion of Will Prowse.  

 

The Club was impressed with the strong pool of applicants for the Head Women's coaching role for which we are both fortunate and most thankful.

 

The Club is delighted to have retained and appointed these highly valued servants of the Valley as it continues to plan for an exciting 2027 season.
