Volunteers - Junior footy
TVAFNC requires many volunteers to run the Junior program and there are many jobs you can choose from. This allows you to contribute as much or as little of your time as you choose. Please consider putting your hand up to volunteer to assist with the Junior program today. The more volunteers the less work for everyone and the better the season for all.

Junior COACH, Assistant Coach or Manager EOI
Calling volunteers interested in a Junior Coach, Assistant Coach or Manager role in 2024.
Important: All 2023 Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Managers are highly encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the 2024 season.
New or experienced, we will provide all the support and assistance that you need.
As a Coach/Assistant Coach you will need to:

ensure players become proficient in the fundamental skills of the game
-
achieve a level 1 AFL Coaching accreditation by Round 1
-
be organised with training plans that cater for each players ability, whilst building confidence and team spirit

commit to attending a minimum of two Coach AFL sessions during the season

demonstrate our core values of fun, inclusiveness and community and communicate with players and families in a positive, encouraging and supportive manner.
As a Manager you will need to:
-
be organised and a good communicator
-
encourage families to be involved in fundraising and social events
-
support the coaching staff by making sure there is game day volunteers for each role
-
ensure the integrity of awards and best and fairest voting (if applicable) is done in accordance with Club policy
